History and French teacher, Yonkers

I teach history at Atlas Grammar School in Yonkers since 2009. Most days I teach teenagers, and I never raise my voice.
Outside the classroom I bake for the whole street at New Year. Inside it, I never raise my voice.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Jayden
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Jayden: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
