Jayanthi Nilmini Gunawardena
Sculpture and graphic design artist
- 🇱🇰 Colombo, Western, Sri Lanka
- Colombo Art Collective
- Since 1998
- English, Sinhala
I work mostly in sculpture, sometimes graphic design. My first show was in 1998 at Colombo Art Collective, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I also teach a weekly class at Colombo Art Collective, which keeps me honest.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Jayanthi: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
