Jayanthi K. Bhat
Anthropology lecturer, 1989 to 2019
- 🇮🇳 Thane, Maharashtra, India
- Thane College
- 1989 to 2019
- English
I taught anthropology at Thane College from 1989 to 2019, and supervised 45 dissertations along the way.
Former students now work as a mechanic and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Jayanthi
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
What gifts mean to Jayanthi: Gifts will go to a small travel fund for students presenting their first paper.
