I teach art at Baobab Primary School in Kolkata since 1992. Most days I teach Grade 4, and I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
Over the years I've had 1,090 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

What gifts mean to Jayanthi: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
