Jay Gokhale
French and art teacher, Mumbai
- 🇮🇳 Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
- Since 1979
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a nurse, and 47 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I make terrible puns. Inside it, I play music while people worked.
More about Jay
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Jay: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
