Jay C. Modi
Master of carpentry, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇳 Siliguri, West Bengal, India
- Siliguri Shop
- Since 1993
- English
I've worked in carpentry since 1993. I learned from my older brother and passed what I could on to 920 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I garden badly but happily.
More about Jay
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
What gifts mean to Jay: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
