Javier T. Contreras
Accordion player and teacher in Xalapa
- 🇲🇽 Xalapa, Veracruz, Mexico
- Xalapa Choir
- 2001 to 2019
- Spanish
I play accordion and choir direction. I started in 2001 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 10 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I'm always reading two books at once.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Javier
If you ever danced at one of my shows, I hope it was a good night.

What gifts mean to Javier: I'd put a gift toward recording a small album.
