Javier L. López

Self-taught oil painting artist

  • 🇺🇸 Oakland, California, United States
  • The Oakland Studio
  • 1980 to 2001
  • English, Spanish
I work mostly in oil painting, sometimes woodcarving. My first show was in 1980 at The Oakland Studio, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog. Most of my work is inspired by my grandmother's kitchen. I sing in a choir.

More about Javier

I've had 11 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
