Javier K. Urbina
Retired physics teacher from Sunrise Academy
- 🇨🇴 Bogotá, Bogotá D.C., Colombia
- Sunrise Academy
- 2007 to 2025
- Spanish
I came to teaching late, after working as a farmhand, and 18 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Javier
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

You taught me physics in 2012 at Sunrise Academy. I still remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand

You taught me physics in 2014 at Sunrise Academy. I still remember the quiz night we nearly won. Truly.
