For 17 years I was the English literature teacher at Sukkur Secondary School. I taught first-year students and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 870 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Javeria
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
