Javeria Iqra Awan
Coached softball for 23 years in Karachi
- 🇵🇰 Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan
- Since 2003
- English, Punjabi
For 23 years I've run the softball program at Karachi Crown Sports Club in Karachi. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learn every name in the first week.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Javeria
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Javeria: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
