I've volunteered with Rosewood Mutual Aid from 1983 to 2008. I started on a Saturday morning "just to help out" and never left.
Our crew is about 37 people now. Everyone brings something.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Javeria
If you've ever been helped by one of our sessions, you're the reason we keep going.
What gifts mean to Javeria: I'd put a gift toward transport for our volunteers.
