Januka Gita Aryal

Spanish teacher at Heritage Grammar School, 1993 to 2002

  • 🇳🇵 Kathmandu, Bagmati, Nepal
  • Heritage Grammar School
  • 1993 to 2002
  • English, Nepali
I taught Spanish at Heritage Grammar School in Kathmandu from 1993 to 2002. Most days I taught Year 7, and I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it. My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

More about Januka

Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
