Eastgate Middle School was my second home. I taught Spanish there from 1981 to 2009, mostly primary school children.
Outside the classroom I walk the dog by the river. Inside it, I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Jannat
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Jannat: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
