Janhavi L. Deshmukh

Painter, potter and teacher at Little Elmwood Pottery

  • 🇮🇳 Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India
  • Little Elmwood Pottery
  • Since 1984
  • English, Marathi
I work mostly in photography, sometimes graphic design. My first show was in 1984 at Little Elmwood Pottery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog. Most of my work is inspired by folk tales I grew up with. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.

More about Janhavi

I've had 8 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
