Janhavi A. Patil

Helping people break into trades

🇮🇳 Pune, Maharashtra, India
Pune Foundation
1998 to 2023
English, Marathi

I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 930 people through Pune Foundation. I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I fix old bicycles. Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

Areas of mentoring

Trades First-generation students

What gifts mean to Janhavi: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
