I teach home economics at Obuasi Girls' School in Obuasi since 1990. Most days I teach teenagers, and I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Janet
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Janet: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

you taught me home economics in 2014 at Obuasi Girls' School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard. Thank you again.

You taught me home economics in 2021 at Obuasi Girls' School. I still remember that terrible school play.
