I teach economics and social studies at Meadowbank High School, Austin. I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I've had 1,010 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

What gifts mean to Janet: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
