Janet Patel
Agriculture teacher at Sydney Technical College, 2003 to 2023

I taught agriculture at Sydney Technical College in Sydney from 2003 to 2023. Most days I taught mixed-ability classes, and I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
Over the years I had 1,180 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Janet
If you were in my mixed-ability classes class, you probably remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.

What gifts mean to Janet: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
