I've been a nurse for 44 years, most of them in pediatrics at Valley View University Hospital in Kikuyu. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
