For 21 years I was the Spanish teacher at Nairobi Secondary School. I taught Year 7 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I garden badly but happily. Inside it, my door was open at lunch.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Janet
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
