For 26 years I ran the cricket program at Embakasi Gateway Community Club in Embakasi. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I sing in a choir.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Janet
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Janet: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
