Janet Halima Musyoka

37 years teaching economics in Mukono

  • 🇺🇬 Mukono, Central Region, Uganda
  • Mukono Grammar School
  • 1988 to 2000
  • English, Swahili
For twelve years I was the economics teacher at Mukono Grammar School. I taught Year 9 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. I coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

More about Janet

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
