Janani E. Balakrishnan
Master of weaving, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇳 Nashik, Maharashtra, India
- The Nashik Trades Guild
- 1998 to 2013
- English, Kannada
My trade is weaving. I opened my own shop in 1998 in Nashik and I'm still there most mornings.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I watch every football match going.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

What gifts mean to Janani: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
