I teach drama at Queensway Secondary School in Duisburg since 1994. Most days I teach primary school children, and I never raise my voice.
Over the years I've had 1,540 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Jan
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
What gifts mean to Jan: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
