I teach physical education at Atlas Primary School in Düsseldorf since 2010. Most days I teach Year 10, and I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
Over the years I've had 800 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Jan
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the capital, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Jan: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
