I taught religious studies at Freiburg Middle School in Freiburg from 2000 to 2013. Most days I taught Year 10, and I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
Over the years I had 300 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Jan
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the national park, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Jan: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
