I coached swimming at Mecca Athletic Club from 1991 to 2013. Most of my players were between 12 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
More about Jamila
If you played for me, you probably remember the rainy sports day.
What gifts mean to Jamila: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
