Jamila Khadija Wahba

Tabla player and teacher in Riyadh

  • 🇸🇦 Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
  • Jacaranda Orchestra
  • Since 1995
  • English, Arabic
I've played tabla since 1995, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach. I teach about 20 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I sing in a choir.

More about Jamila

I write my first song when I was 18. It was terrible and I still love it.

What gifts mean to Jamila: I'd put a gift toward recording a small album.
