I taught art at Bellevue Primary School in Bellevue from 2001 to 2010. Most days I taught Grade 6, and I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
Over the years I had 480 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

What gifts mean to Jamila: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
