Jameson P. Smith
Professor of astronomy, Birmingham University
- 🇬🇧 Birmingham, England, United Kingdom
- Birmingham University
- Since 2010
- English
My subject is astronomy, and for 16 years I get to share it with undergraduates at Birmingham University.
Former students now work as a bank clerk and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Jameson
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
What gifts mean to Jameson: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
