James Tucker
Oil painting artist in Oakland
- 🇺🇸 Oakland, California, United States
- Oakland Gallery
- 1994 to 2009
- English
I work mostly in oil painting, sometimes ceramics. My first show was in 1994 at Oakland Gallery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by faces I pass in the street. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.

If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
