James R. Patterson
Sitar player and teacher in San Antonio
- 🇺🇸 San Antonio, Texas, United States
- Eastgate Ensemble
- 1991 to 2004
- English
I play sitar and jazz. I started in 1991 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
My favorite gigs are the small ones where somebody cries a little in the third row.
I'm still learning every day.
More about James
I wrote my first song when I was 19. It was terrible and I still love it.
What gifts mean to James: Any gift will help me keep teaching kids who can't afford lessons.
