For nine years I was the drama teacher at Bakersfield High School. I taught Grade 4 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I coached the school's football team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the capital, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
