I've spent 44 years as a lecturer in civil engineering at Atlas University in London. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
Former students now work as a radio technician and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about James
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to James: Gifts will go to a small travel fund for students presenting their first paper.
