James Kato Mbwambo
31 years teaching geography in Thika
- 🇰🇪 Thika, Kiambu, Kenya
- Trinity Girls' School
- Since 1986
- English, Swahili
For 40 years I have been the geography teacher at Trinity Girls' School. I teach Grade 8 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I sing in a choir. Inside it, I learn every name in the first week.
I'm still learning every day.
More about James
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
