Jamal Salim Amin
Master of painting and decorating, now teaching apprentices
- 🇪🇬 Heliopolis, Cairo, Egypt
- Riverside Repairs
- Since 2007
- English, Arabic, French
My trade is painting and decorating. I opened my own shop in 2007 in Heliopolis and I'm still there most mornings.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 14 years later for another job.
More about Jamal
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Jamal: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
