Jamal Mohammed Bakr
Woodcarving and printmaking artist
- 🇪🇬 Mansoura, Dakahlia, Egypt
- Mansoura Art Collective
- Since 2008
- English, French
I work mostly in woodcarving, sometimes printmaking. My first show was in 2008 at Mansoura Art Collective, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I never rush a conversation. My studio is always a bit of a mess.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
