I teach religious studies at Marrakesh Academy in Marrakesh since 2009. Most days I teach Year 7, and I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
I've run the school newspaper after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I'm learning the guitar.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Jamal
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Jamal: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
