I taught physics at Berlin Girls' School in Berlin from 1997 to 2011. Most days I taught Grade 11, and I answered every email, even at midnight.
Over the years I had 710 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Jakob
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
