Helping people break into first-generation students
- 🇩🇪 Kassel, Hesse, Germany
- Since 1984
- German
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 2,140 people through Kassel Youth Network.
I never turn anyone away.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Jakob
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.

What gifts mean to Jakob: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
