I've worked in painting and decorating since 2004. I learned from my older brother and passed what I could on to 1,080 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Jakob
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.

What gifts mean to Jakob: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
