I've been a nurse for 43 years, most of them in school nursing at Phoenix Clinic in Nakhon Ratchasima. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
I try to remember everyone's name. Small things matter when someone is frightened.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
