I play tabla and oud. I started in 1986 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
My favorite gigs are the small ones where somebody cries a little in the third row.
More about Jahid
I write my first song when I was 21. It was terrible and I still love it.
What gifts mean to Jahid: I'd put a gift toward recording a small album.
