Jagath Lakmal Kumarasinghe
Retired chemistry teacher from Dehiwala Girls' School
- 🇱🇰 Dehiwala, Western, Sri Lanka
- Dehiwala Girls' School
- 2005 to 2022
- English, Sinhala
For 17 years I was the chemistry teacher at Dehiwala Girls' School. I taught Grade 6 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 510 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Jagath
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
