Jagath Kamal Silva
Runs the elderly befriending in Negombo
- 🇱🇰 Negombo, Western, Sri Lanka
- Sakura Food Bank
- Since 2018
- English, Sinhala
I've volunteered with Sakura Food Bank since 2018. I started on a Saturday morning "just to help out" and never left.
I try to remember everyone's name. Small habits keep a team together.
More about Jagath
We run on goodwill and a very old kettle.
What gifts mean to Jagath: I'd put a gift toward transport for our volunteers.
