I've worked in masonry since 1986. I learned from my father and passed what I could on to 2,120 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I take the work seriously, though not myself.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Jagadish
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Jagadish: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
