I've coached swimming at Gwangju Elmwood Swimming Club since 1990. Most of my players were between 9 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
More about Jae-won
If you played for me, you probably remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
What gifts mean to Jae-won: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
