I taught English literature at Starlight High School in Los Angeles from 1992 to 2007. Most days I taught Grade 8, and I never turned anyone away.
Outside the classroom I make terrible puns. Inside it, I never turned anyone away.
More about Jade
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Jade: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

you taught me English literature in 2015 at Starlight High School. I still remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam. Greetings from Pune.
