Jacques S. Reddy
Master of weaving, now teaching apprentices
- 🇿🇦 Mthatha, Eastern Cape, South Africa
- Little Phoenix Shop
- Since 1985
- English, Zulu
I'm a weaving specialist. If you live around Mthatha, there's a good chance I've worked in a building near you.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I try to remember everyone's name.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
What gifts mean to Jacques: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
